Words from David:
Taylor Sheridan’s acclaimed 1883 offers a fresh take on the bravery of those pioneers that pushed west in the second half of the 19th century. His strong storytelling was played out against majestic scenery and offering a sense of scale was core to the direction.
In still photography, the game is the same and last week in Colorado we had the chance to work in the most stunning of ranches near Telluride. This was in fact the same Schmid Ranch where Tarantino shot ‘The Hateful 8’.
I want to thank The Hollman Miller Gallery for hosting us in Whitefish, Montana over the last 3 days and the large numbers that came each night to see our Wild West work. Next stop LA - looking forward to a crazy two weeks of filming.
