Born in Glasgow in 1966, David Yarrow started exploring photography early on.
By the age of twenty, he was working for the London times and gained widespread recognition for his now-iconic shot of Diego Maradona holding the World Cup.
Following this landmark moment, David was invited to cover major sporting events such as the Olympics. Years later, he began working in nature photography, going on to develop his signature immersive approach to capturing unique, evocative images of all life on earth.
David’s large-scale, monochrome photographs dive deep into the world of his subjects. His work is incredibly detailed, with wildlife photoshoots often taking days to set up. Each photograph has its own narrative – with David recalling the adventures that led him to each location, or the inspiration behind his visual “storytelling.”
David has become particularly well known for his wildlife photography, as well as his efforts in wildlife preservation and other charitable work. The limited edition print runs of his incredible photographs have become highly sought-after by collectors and celebrities around the world.
