CARO SAINTVIRE

Caro SaintVire was immersed in art from an early age, growing up in a family of artists. She started on her own professional art journey at the University of Brighton and continued with studies at the Chelsea College of Art and Design.

Caro finds her inspiration in the natural world, drawing on each location she finds herself in. She lived abroad in the Swiss Alps for some time, gaining an understanding and appreciation of wide skies, open space, and dramatic mountainscapes. She has also travelled across other countries in Europe, as well as the US, exploring each new landscape in turn. Now living on the south coast in the UK, she continually finds new ideas in the skies, sunrises, and sunsets that take new forms each day.

Caro’s own style of abstracted realism means continual exploration of her creative process, merging external moments of inspiration with internal sparks of imagination.
