KIRSTEN MIRREY

Born in Fife, Scotland, Kirsten's artworks have been always been inspired by the nature and wildlife that surrounded her growing up. Her most recent collection of work has focused on both exotic and endangered wildlife in her signature photorealistic style. Each painting is created “hair by hair” and can take many months to complete.



Kirsten’s inspiration mainly comes from the animals themselves; she aims to recreate the power and grace of each animal, immortalising their natural aspects into visual form. Completely self-taught, Kirsten spends most of her time in her studio trying new techniques and materials to enhance her art.

Kirsten’s pieces are now housed all over with world, with many of her collectors based in the USA, New Zealand, Australia, and Europe.
